Developing Mindz was founded on the core principle of helping students reach their full potential. The key is understanding that not all students are the same. This means that their ways of acquiring knowledge and fundamental skills differ.

With over 15 years of experience as a qualified educator, holding two teaching licenses (South African and Canadian), I realized there is a significant gap in the education system—one that affects students who learn and process knowledge differently. Having taught in three countries across primary, intermediate, and high school levels, and serving as an HOD managing over 500 students at the primary level, I have recognized that our greatest weakness lies in the inability to provide adequate tools for students of all learning styles.

I have always had a passion for education, as I truly believe that education is liberating and creates opportunities beyond measure.

Driven by my love for learning, I have sought to expand my horizons both locally and internationally. This pursuit has fueled my educational passion and allowed me to gain experience across five different curricula: the South African CAPS Curriculum, the American Curriculum, the Canadian Curriculum, the British Cambridge Curriculum, and the French Curriculum.

Through these experiences, I have realized that regardless of the country, curriculum, or social and economic differences, one challenge remains constant. With the pace of schooling, time constraints, limited resources, large class sizes, administrative demands, and tight deadlines, catering to the diverse needs of all students—especially those with learning gaps—can be extremely difficult.

It is for this reason that I established Developing Mindz Education Centre. My goal is not only to offer tuition that supports student progress but also to provide a specialized learning program incorporating a wide range of differentiated systems and methodologies aimed at helping students meet and exceed grade-level expectations.

Drawing from my extensive experience, numerous professional development courses, and exposure to diverse educational cultures, I have designed an effective program to address students’ individual needs.

It is my hope that through Developing Mindz, students will be able to bridge their learning gaps and gain the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
